Starter Motor Operation
When activated (via button or key), an electrical signal travels to the starter solenoid, which directs power from the battery to the starter motor. This activates the starter drive (Bendix gear system), engaging the vehicle’s flywheel. The starter motor cranks the engine to initiate combustion. Once running, the system disengages the starter from the flywheel as the engine becomes self-sustaining.
